Before you drop a few bills on that expensive electronic run it through the barcode finder and check out current online deals. You’d be surprised as to how much money this cool app can save you.
GottaDeal.com – GottaDeal.com offers this free iPad app which can save you a lot of money this holiday season. The app will take you to the GottaDeal.com forums and allow you to find the best retail outlet for the particular item you are searching for.

Sale Saver – Sale Saver is a really great app for someone like me who can be mathematically challenged at times. Ever see those signs that say “25% off, 45% off” but never have prices? Sale Saver allows you to do the math on the iPad and figure out exactly what the price is so you have no surprises at the register, nor do you miss out on any great savings.
TweetsshopHD – Twitter users will love this app. This cool app allows you to tap into Twitter and find out about new sales. I tried it a few times and it worked great for me. I actually saved some money on a USB stick.
Amazon Mobile – At the end of the day, there aren’t many deals that aren’t beaten on Amazon.com. This app takes you directly to Amazon and allows iPad users to browse through reviews, sales, compare prices, and buy items on Amazon.
CraigsPro – I love this Craigslist app and have found some great deals on the website using this application. This app allows users to browse through multiple cities on Craigslist.org and search out deals and sales.
Nextag Mobile – This is another free shopping app that can be used all year round. The Nextag app allows users to snap pictures of any item they see in the store and then compare prices online for the item. You will be surprised as to how much money you can instantly save using this iPad app.
Toys R Us app – This baby just hit the Apple app market back in October and has been a blessing for those parents looking for great deals.

Just in time for Black Friday, the Apple iPad is getting a highly anticipated new app. Sling Media has announced the release of the SlingPlayer Mobile app for the iPad. The new Slingbox application doesn’t have a release date, but early hype indicates that this could be the app of the year.
The SlingPlayer will allow Slingbox owners to watch their video from home streaming on their iPad. Users will be able to stream live and pre-recorded content directly to their new favorite gadget. The content will come from your television courtesy of your Slingbox. Unfortunately you will need to own a Slingbox to take advantage of the app.
